Fondue Party

Our good friends Michael and Lindsay Lewis celebrated their one year wedding anniversary this past weekend. God has really blessed us to have them here with us and we look forward to growing in our friendship with them this next year. Adam and I decided to get out our new fondue pot and throw them a little anniversary party. It turned out to be such a wonderful time with all our friends. It was so nice to have everyone standing around the table talking with one another as we waited for our food to cook. We sang "Happy Anniversary" (to the tune of happy birthday) and even had a little singing candle. Lindsay made the cake, it was a delicious banana cake ... it was so good some people even had four pieces!! The fellowship was awesome and again after everyone left, Adam and I sat down and said "we are blessed". We are so fortunate to be able to share our lives with other Christian believers here in Mississippi.

Newbie

Well here I am joining the bloggers world. Yay! I am brand new to this whole thing, but I have been thinking about joining for some time now and figured since I have some time on my hands I might as well try to keep people updated with not only what is going on in our lives but also what may be going through the Kurzen brains! :) Thanks to my sister-in-law, Jen, I was able to figure out how to get this pretty background on my blog page! I am sure I will get better at this and figure out more cool things to do with my blogspot page in the future. Again, God has blessed us in so many ways already and we would just like to be able to share some of those things with you as we continue on this journey together!
